Ne-Yo

Ne -Yo ( born October 18, 1979 in Camden, Arkansas; Shaffer Chimere Smith real name ) is an American R & B singer, songwriter and actor with African-American and Sino- American ancestors.

Career

Smith made in his early years, especially as a songwriter a name, wrote and composed many tracks for artists such as Mary J. Blige, Christina Milian, Faith Evans, Game, 50 Cent and Jamie Foxx. In 2003 he signed a recording contract with Columbia Records, but singer and record company quickly recognized musical differences. In 2003, the label parted again from Smith. Then he met the music producer LA Reid know who gave him a new contract with his major label Def Jam Records. There he adopted the stage name Ne -Yo. Around the same time he helped the singer with Mario Let Me Love You a worldwide number -one hit.

Published in 2005, Ne-Yo 's debut single Stay, which, however, only in the U.S. R & B charts had success. On 29 October 2010 his fourth studio album, Libra Scale, from which the single Beautiful Monster was coupled out in June, which reached number 53 on the U.S. charts appeared. On August 27th, the song was released on the Internet and on CD.

As the first single from his fifth album R.E.D. published Ne -Yo Let Me Love You ( Until You Learn to Love Yourself ). This single was produced mainly by the production team Stargate, but also in collaboration with Jan Vollers. The album was released in Germany on November 2, 2012.

Private life

Ne -Yo is in a relationship with Monyetta Shaw, which collectively has two children with him. Ne -yo first child Madilyn was born in November 2010. His second child, Mason came in October 2011 to the world.
