The University of the Middle East (Turkish: Dogu Üniversitesi Yakın ) is a foundation university in the Cypriot capital Nicosia.

The university was founded in 1988 and is located seven kilometers (direct distance ) north- northwest of the city center in a gated complex. There are 13 faculties.
