Nebling is a small village of the municipality under Griesbach in Lower Bavarian district of Passau. Nebling had about 60 inhabitants in January 2014. Until 1971 Nebling was part of the community Schaibing.

Location

Nebling is located about 3 km northwest of sub- Griesbach and about 500 meters west of Schaibing. The university city of Passau is around 20 km away.

History

1818 Nebling was incorporated into Leizesberg. After the renaming Nebling belonged until 1971 to the municipality Schaibing. Since their resolution Nebling is part of the municipality under Griesbach. Since 1954 Nebling is part of the parish Schaibing.

Religion

Nebling is predominantly Catholic. It belongs to the parish in the diocese of Passau Schaibing.
