Manuel Nunes, known as Neco ( born March 7, 1895 in São Paulo, † May 31, 1977 ibid ), was a Brazilian football player and coach. In the history of SC Corinthians Paulista, for whom he worked until the end of the 1930s as a player and coach, he was the first major star and won with the club the first title. With the Brazilian national team, he won the South American Football Championship twice.

Life

Neco began in 1911 in the youth of the company founded in 1910 SC Corinthians Paulista to play. From 1913 he was also first appearances in the first team of the club.
