NECTEC ( National Electronics and Computer Technology Center ) is a Thai government agency that reports to the Ministry of Science and Technology.

Open source projects from NECTEC

NECTEC created and cared for various open source projects, which are primarily concerned with localization of software for Thailand and generally with processing of Thai language and writing within an IT system. The most important projects:

  • LinuxTLE, OpenTLE ( Linux distribution )
  • OpenOfficeTLE (localization of OpenOffice.org )
  • Lexitron ( Dictionary English - Thai based on Java )
