Neferneferuaten

Neferneferuaten Achetenhyes ( Neferneferuaten, which is good for her husband ) is the name of a female royal person of Ancient Egyptian Amarna period ( around 1300 BC). Neferneferuaten Achetenhyes is only a very few inscriptions known, only one of them is completely preserved the name. The name is within a cartouche ( the oval frames the royal name ) is written, which is why it is classified as a royal. Inscriptions of Neferneferuaten Achetenhyes were rediscovered with a publication from 1998. She was previously unknown.

  • Marc Gabolde saw in her Meritaton, the eldest daughter of Akhenaten
  • James P. Allen saw in her Neferneferuaton
  • Aidan Dodson saw in her Nefertiti ( her full name was usually Neferneferuaten Nefertiti )
