Nehsi

Nehesi was treasurer ( jmj - r3 - HTMT ) under the ancient Egyptian ruler Hatshepsut ( about 1479-1458 BC).

Nehesi is known primarily from the mortuary temple of Queen at Deir el- Bahari. He appears in their ninth year of reign on reliefs as head of the Punt expedition. In addition, little is known about his person. He had his grave on the grounds of Bubasteion at Saqqara and a chapel in Jabal al-Silsilah (No. 14).
