Neidenbach
Envy in the Eifel mountains is a municipality in the district of Bitburg -Prüm, in Rhineland -Palatinate. It belongs to the municipality Kyllburg.
Geography
Neidenbach located about 45 km north of Trier in the Kyllburger Waldeifel. To the local community also includes the hamlet of Erntehof 2.5 km northwest of the local situation as well as residential places Koppenweg, Maierhof, Nickelshof and Am waterfall.
History
Field names and some archaeological finds point to a Roman and Frankish colonization of the area around envy Bach. A landmark that can be seen on the Roman road Trier- Cologne, which was on the heights between envy Bach and Bales field and off-road and on topographic maps, bears the inscription FINIS PAGI CARVCVM and thus has a settlement of otherwise testified under this name, presumably Celtic Caruces out (see Carosgau ).
The first written mention of the town was in 1177 as Nidenbuch in a document by Pope Alexander III. , In which it is mentioned that Count Fulco de Malberc the monastery Himmerod gives a Allodium ( Inheritance and estate ) with all accessories.
By the end of the 18th century Neidenbach belonged partly to the Electorate of Trier (Official Wilsecker ) and partly to the Duchy of Luxembourg (ruled Malberg ). The basic rule was the Lord of Malberg, Baron of Veyder, and the Cistercian monastery of Saint Thomas at Wilsecker in equal parts. The two men used a Community court from which appealed to the Luxembourg subjects to Luxembourg, the geometry step to Trier. 1531 1636 but eight fireplaces Luxembourg ( Haushalungen ) were nine generic geometry and five Luxembourg, 1624 also nine generic geometry counted. In 1777 there were eight and ten generic symmetry Luxembourg fireplaces.
Even in the so-called Frenchman time the place was divided, the previously Luxembourg part belonged from 1795 to 1814 for forest department, the above geometry generic part belonged from 1798 to 1814 to the Saar Department.
After the Congress of Vienna (1815 ) Envy Bach came to the Kingdom of Prussia. Envy Bach was now split, the mayor Malberg in 1816 the newly formed district of Bitburg in the Trier region, which was part of 1822 on the Rhine Province.

Parish council
The local council in Neidenbach consists of twelve council members, who were elected at the municipal election held on 7 June 2009 of personalized proportional representation, and the honorary mayor as chairman.

Clubs and events
In addition to the volunteer fire department Neidenbach with patrons, young firefighters and now an independent fire department band, other clubs are active in envy Bach. These include

Although Bach did not envy carnival association depends of the village, or the Association Community VFL and Stammtisch 11-12, every year at carnival cap session in the gym with an edition for adults and one for children from output. On Ash Monday, a procession moves with the cart, musicians and groups on foot through the town.
On Sunday after Ash Wednesday, the young people of the village maintain the old custom of burning hut.
Every year in summer the Maypole Festival and the Peter & Paul parish fair funfair ( Moselle Franconian: Pittischdaach ) in place instead.
Economy
The population is predominantly outside of town for a job. In the town itself there are besides a restaurant and a hairdresser still smaller retail outlets that the immediate rural population.
