Neil Coles
Neil Cole ( born September 26, 1934) is an English professional golfer. He is the only golfer who - could win in six different decades professional tournaments - starting in the 1950s to the 21st century.
By 1982, Cole recorded 31 tournament wins, including seven on the European Tour in 1972 the newly founded. He was eight times represented in the team from Great Britain & Ireland in the Ryder Cup and played twice for England in the World Cup.
From 1992 he played on the newly introduced European Seniors Tour and won there nine times more recently in 2002 at the age of almost 68 years. In the 2006 season he was still in six events at the start.
In 2000 Neil Coles was inducted into the World Golf Hall of Fame.
It is long -standing chairman of the PGA European Tour 's board of directors and is active with his company Neil Coles & Associates as an internationally renowned golf course architect.
Coles is married to Ann since 1954 and has two sons. He lives in England Walton-on -Thames.
