Neisse University

The Neisse University is a university network of Zittau / Görlitz in Germany, the Technical University of Liberec in the Czech Republic and Technical University of Wrocław in Poland. The participating universities offer a joint degree programs.

History

The University Network was founded in 2001, three years before the EU enlargement, and was regarded as a pilot project. In the same year students were enrolled from Poland, Germany and the Czech Republic for the Bachelor study program " Information and Communication Management" for the first time. Its first president was Peter Schmidt. 2004 was accredited by ACQUIN. In the same year, Klaus ten Hagen was elected president and replaced by Jaroslav Vild 2007.

The lectures are held in English only. The study changes in rhythm of Liberec ( 1st year ) about Jelenia Gora ( 2nd year ) to Zittau / Görlitz ( 3rd year ).
