Nek
Nek ( born January 6, 1972 in Sassuolo MO, real name Filippo Neviani ) is an Italian pop singer and musician.
Life
At the age of nine years allowed him an aunt to take guitar lessons. In the beginning he was enthusiastic about artists from the record collection of his older brother, John Denver, Alabama and Simon & Garfunkel. His musical career began in 1984 when he met Gianluca Vaccari and the duo formed with him I Winchester, mainly played the hits of John Denver. With Denver's well-known song Take Me Home, Country Roads in 1987, they won a prize in a music competition in her hometown.
The duo broke up in 1988 and Neviani swapped the guitar with the bass in the newly formed band White Lady. While this 1990 recorded their first demo album, Neviani was discovered as a talented singer. About the new contacts he met Massimo Varini, a promising young guitarists know and became friends with him. During this time he also invented his stage name Nek.
In 1991 he won second prize in a singing contest, this time at the national level. As of 1992, the band White Lady albums released with moderate success. Nek was only really known by his appearance at the Festival of Sanremo 1993 1994 he was awarded the prize for " best young singer of Italy".; from then on, his career went uphill. His most famous song Laura non c'è was published in 1996.
Since then he has had with his fourth album achieved international recognition, appeared each of his albums in Spanish. On the albums In due / Entre Tú Y Yo, La vita è / La Vida Es Le cose da difendere / Las Cosas Que Defendere, the best-of album L' anno zero / El Año Cero and Una parte di me / Una parte de Mí corresponds to the melody of every Spanish song of the Italian and the songs on the albums have the same order. The Spanish text differs in places from the Italian original from the message that seeks to communicate Nek, but is preserved in spite of the translation.
For the best-of album, the songs In te (En Ti), Cuori in tempesta ( Corazones en Tempe Stade ) and Angeli nel ghetto ( Ángeles Del gueto ) were recorded in Spanish again.
On the Spanish album En el cuarto 26 only seven songs are translated. This requires listening to two Spanish songs and an Italian version of the previous album on the album.
Nek itself speaks perfect Spanish and writes his Spanish lyrics mostly alone. His biggest singing 's pattern is, according to Sting, which is evident in his phrasing.
