The company Neo Solar Power, headquartered in Taipei (Taiwan) is one of the world's largest manufacturer of solar cells. It was founded in 2005.

In Taiwan, the company has three factories, in Xinzhu in Tainan and Zhunan ( Miaoli County ), a fourth factory was built in the People's Republic of China, Wujiang ( Jiangsu Province ).

In August 2011, Sam Hong, then president and COO of Neo Solar Power Corp. , Elected chairman of the Taiwan Photovoltaic Industry Association ( TPVIA ).

On May 31, 2013 Neo Solar Power merged with DelSolar and became - in terms of capacity - the largest solar cell manufacturer in Taiwan.

The stock is listed on the Taiwan Stock Exchange since 12 January 2009 ( stock number 3576 ).

The company competes internationally on the Taiwan Stock Exchange an important role. So on March 7, 2013 approximately 34 million shares were traded, representing a value of the equivalent of about 27 million U.S. dollars. In order for shares of Neo Solar regarding the daily trading volume were in the industry worldwide in third place behind the U.S. competitors First Solar (152 million U.S. dollars in the NASDAQ) and Sunpower ( 39 million ).
