Neofonie
Neofonie GmbH is a 1998 founded company, the programs and apps for smartphones and computers developed. Neofonie developed, among other things, the search engine " WeFind " for its subsidiary WeFind AG. Neofonie became known for their temporary partnership on the WeTab GmbH, manufacturer of the WeTab tablet computer.
Foundation
The neofonie GmbH was founded on 19 May 1998 as a spin-off of the Technical University of Berlin. Founders were the Fireball and Paper Ball developers Helmut Oertel (since 2005 with the surname Hoffer of anchor Hope ), Nurhan Yildirim and Oli Kai Paulus.

Neofonie offers a wide range of products. Most products are software and Internet and intranet portals.

B2B
Neofonie developed the Enterprise Search product portfolio WeFind B2B Solutions, which includes the products for WeFind portal and WeFind Cloud Service for the B2B sector.
The open source component for iPhone apps " WeShare Mobile for iPhone" simplifies publishing content such as images, links, text extracts or comments on social media platforms.
B2C
For the B2C sector developed neofonie for the daughter WeFind AG www.wefind.de the search engine as well as a mobile version thereof ( WeFind Mobile for iPhone / Android ) as well as a desktop application for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux.
The tablet PC WeTab is a product of the former subsidiary WeTab GmbH. On 15 November 2010 the Company announced that it would withdraw from the development and marketing of the WeTab tablet computer. The joint venture with AG 4tiitoo am resolved over the WeTab completely from the 4tiitoo AG.
Research and Development
The company has an existing 30 subjects research and development department, which the use case Alexandria developed as part of Theseus research program, which was funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.
