The Scaly Sägeblättling ( Neolentinus lepideus, syn. Lentinus lepideus, L. squamosus ) is a mushroom of the genus Neolentinus.

Features

The Scaly Sägeblättling is 5-15 cm wide fruiting bodies of a yellowish- white ground color, covered with coarse, brownish scales. The mushrooms are curved young, later expanded with hunched or recessed Hutmitte. The edge is long rolled and joined to the stem by a volatile veil. The wide lamella run down on the stem and have roughly notched or serrated cutting. Their color is yellowish-white, the spore powder white.
