Nesar Ahmad Bahave

Nesar Ahmad Bahave (Persian نثاراحمد بهاوی; born March 27, 1984 in Kapisa ) is an Afghan Taekwondo.

A first international success landed Bahave at the 2006 Asian Games in Doha by winning the bronze medal in the weight category up to 72 kilograms. The following year, he celebrated the silver medal in the lightweight at the World Championships in Beijing its biggest sporting success. This was the first medal ever could achieve an Afghan athlete at a World Cup.

In April 2008, he finished fifth at the 18th Asian Games in his weight class. An invitation from a Single Commission of the World Taekwondo Federation and the International Olympic Committee secured his place in the Olympic Summer Games 2008., Where he was at the opening ceremony flag bearer of the Afghan team.

Behave also qualified for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. There he was defeated in the battle for the bronze medal of the Italian Mauro Sarmiento with 0:4 points.
