Neste in Saint- Lary -Soulan
The nest is a river in France, which runs in the Midi-Pyrénées region. It changes several times their name and springs as Neste de Bathes in the Pyrenees National Park, in the municipality of Aragnouet. The source is above the Lac de Bathes, at an altitude of 2299 meters. In Aragnouet she changes her name on Neste d' Aragnouet, a few kilometers further on Neste d' Aure. Only below Sarrancolin it assumes its final name Neste. The valley landscape of the upper reaches bears the name Aure.
Neste drained generally in a northeasterly direction and flows after 73 kilometers at Montréjeau as a left tributary of the Garonne.
In Sarrancolin from the river water is diverted and distributed by the Canal de la Neste over the plateau of Lannemezan for irrigation and doping other rivers that lead in the summer a little water.
On their way, the Neste crosses the departments of Hautes -Pyrenees and Haute -Garonne.
