New Königsaue is a district of the town Aschersleben Salzlandkreis (Saxony -Anhalt).

New Königsaue is a young town. He emerged in the mid -1960s, about 1,500 meters from the place of origin. The original village Königsaue had to give way to the brown coal mining. In the immediate vicinity is the Harzer Zealand.

The community Königsaue was incorporated on October 7, 1967 in the municipality Schadeleben. On 12 June 1990, the municipality under the name of New Königsaue was newly formed. On 1 January 2009 it was incorporated into Aschersleben.
