Neubaugasse (Vienna U-Bahn)

Church Street / New Street: 13A

The new station building is a three-storey street, underground station U3 on the border between the 6th and 7th district of Vienna. It is named after the road construction business street. The station, which extends between church and Neubaugasse, has side platforms, which are located in two superposed tunnels.

It was passed on 4 September 1993 with the opening of the second portion of the U3 between Vaudeville and Westbahnhof their destination and one of those stations in the Vienna U- Bahn network with the most distant inputs and outputs. This leads on the one hand a mezzanine on the Mariahilferstrasse and the other in the basement of the department store Gerngross on the corner of Church Street / Mariahilferstrasse. The location directly under the top-selling Viennese shopping street ensures a high ridership, but also led in recent years to spread a beggar and drug scene. This made the audience frequency station also become the target of "Public Branding ".

Near the station is the house of the sea.
