The Neuhofer Lake is located northeast of Schwerin in the Sternberg Lake District in the district of North West Mecklenburg. The western, eastern and southern shores form the border of the district of Ludwigsburg pleasure Parchim. Larger communities in the area are Warin and Brüel. The neighboring communities are Langen Jarchow and Zahrensdorf. The eponymous village Neuhof is a district of Bibow and is located about two kilometers away from the lake.
