New Axis Airways was a French airline based in Marseille. She conducted air cargo and charter flights for European travel companies.

History

The forerunner of the airline was founded as Sinair in Grenoble. In June 2000, its parent company Pan European Air Services sold the airline to Axis Partners, which renamed the company in February 2001 in Axis Airways and built a new headquarters in Marseille.

Axis Airways announced in October 2006 bankruptcy. Through new funding a group of investors Axis Airways was able to resume flight operations in December 2006. At that time employed 73 employees Axis Airways.

2008 they gave the airline a new name: New Axis Airways. Shares in the ownership held Etoile de La Valentine ( 26%), Arkia Israeli Airlines (20%), gamma Travel ( 13%), ISF ( 35%) and Sarah Tours ( 6%).

Objectives

From the French cities of Marseilles, Paris and Toulouse, the Israeli city of Tel Aviv was served.
