New Edubiase United

The New Edubiase United Football Club is a Ghanaian football club based in New Edubiase, Adansi South District; in the club's logo, an elephant is used as an emblem and NEUFC as an abbreviation of the association.

History

The club played for Season 2008/ 09 championship games for the first time in the zone 2A of Division One League. After nine wins and a draw in 14 games to qualify for the promotion playoffs, which was finished without a loss; so celebrated New Edubiase United the initial rise in the prime Ghana Premier League. In the following season 2009/10 they could do the Premier League in 12th place and also leave in addition to the Liberty Professionals, the three relegated behind, while the Mitaufsteiger Aduana Stars won the title. The 2010/11 season proved to be much more enjoyable, however: The club finished the season in eighth place and even had located four games remaining on rank 4.

The best-known players in the squad of the club (as of season 2011 /12) is the current national player Emmanuel Baffour. Coach since August 2009, the Ghanaian Anthony Commey.

After her Erstligaaufstieg 2009 New Edubiase United had to change his home ground; production was moved to the 30,000 people comprehensive Len Clay Stadium in Obuasi.
