New Found Glory

New Found Glory is a punk band originally from Coral Springs, Florida (USA ), but now it acts from California.

Band History

The band was formed in mid-1997 under the name A New Found Glory and took in June of the same year the EP It's All About The Girls under the label Fiddler Records on. Since the group was able to gain by winning the Slammie Awards as best newcomer band in Florida as well as her performances a certain level of recognition, was this first pressing sold out soon and she already had some support from the fans. Their first album was released later in Eulogy Recordings and their next EP named From The Screen To Your Stereo 1999 Drive-Thru Records. After that, the band changed label to MCA still under which they recorded their self-titled album New Found Glory. The first single Hit Or Miss made ​​it to # 15 U.S. Modern Rock Charts.

2001 accompanied New Found Glory Blink-182 on their tour as the opening act and was at the Warped Tour here.

The breakthrough came with the 2002 to published album Sticks And Stones. It sold only in the first week more than 91,000 times, increasing from zero to four on the Billboard album charts. On 16 September 2008, the band signed a contract with Epitaph Records. The new label was released on 10 March 2009 their seventh studio album Not without a fight. The band tried to install a pure pop-punk album. The album was produced by Mark Hoppus, bassist of Blink 182.

New Found Glory has occurred in the summer of 2009, at the music festivals Rock am Ring and Rock im Park.
