The New Guinea - Mark was a legal tender in the German colony of German New Guinea of ​​1894 to 1911.

1887 Goldmark was introduced in German New Guinea officially. After prolonged negotiations, in 1894 the New Guinea 's Company, permission was granted to mint their own coins. This New Guinea coins were henceforth besides the Coin Allowed cash of equal value. As the colony's administration was taken over by the German Reich in New Guinea on 1 April 1899 it was decided to make no further Guinea coins. On April 15, 1911, these coins were finally withdrawn from circulation.

In addition to German New Guinea colonies German East Africa and Jiaozhou Bay were also minted their own coins.
