New Pendolino

ETR 600 and ETR 610 trains variant of Pendolinobauarten the fourth generation, developed under the premise of interoperability. Pendolino is a brand name for trains with the FIAT Ferroviaria (now the Alstom Group belonging ) developed and patented self-sufficient active tilting technology. History

The design of ETR 600 by Giorgetto Giugiaro. From the new generation of 28 copies in the FS color as ETR 600 and for jointly supported by FS and SBB Cisalpino ordered 14 trains as CIS ETR 610.

The first ETR 600 vehicles went in mid-2008 to the Italian State Railways FS. In December 2008, the type of train between Rome and Bari was first used in scheduled service.
