New Radicals

The New Radicals were an American band that was founded in the late nineties by Gregg Alexander in Los Angeles.

In 1997 the band signed a record deal with MCA and released their first album in October 1998 on the market, Maybe You've Been Brainwashed Too. Here, Alexander acted as a singer, songwriter and producer.

The album was a success, the most famous was the single from the album You Get What You Give. Then Alexander broke the band surprisingly again and since then focused on his work as a producer.

In 2008, Alexander, Danielle Brisebois, Rick Nowels and Rusty Anderson Not So Silent Majority have reunited to record the song Obama rock with which they supported the election campaign of U.S. President Barack Obama under the name The.
