Newdegate, Western Australia

Newdegate is a town in the Australian state of Western Australia with 441 inhabitants, is located some 400 km south-east of Perth.

Newdegate is located in a sparsely populated, fertile region which is dominated by cereal crops and sheep industry ( Wheatbelt Region). The Australian Department of Agriculture operates a research station in the village. Every year in Newdegate an agricultural fair ( Newdegate Machinery Field Days ) instead, will be on display at among other agricultural machinery and farm equipment as well as held various competitions.
