NEWS (Band)
NEWS or NewS is a Japanese J-Pop boy band from the talent of Johnny & Associates. The name is composed of the initial letters of the English words for the four cardinal directions. The four official members are Keiichiro Koyama, Takahisa Masuda, Shigeaki and Yuya Tegoshi Katō. Hiroki Uchi and Hironori Kusano complete the group, but were official members on the status of apprentices and Ryo Nishikido zurückgesetzt.Tomohisa Yamashita are officially in October 2012 On the rise.
Members of the group participate in the Johnny's Units Shuuji to Akira, Tegomass and in the group Kanjani ∞.
Biography
NewS officially began her career in September 2003 with 9 founding members: Yamashita Tomohisa ( ex. 4 tops), Keiichiro Koyama, Shigeaki Kato, Hironori Kusano (all three ex KKKity. ), Masuda Takahisa ( ex. Kis -My- Ft ) Yuya Tegoshi, Takahiro Moriuchi ( ex. Jr.BOYS ), Ryo Nishikido and Hiroki Uchi (both ex. Kansai Jr.). They were all selected from Johnny's Juniors groups.
Their first single, NEWS Nippon, published on November 7, and was sold to the date corresponding to only in 7-Eleven stores. It was also the official song of the Volleyball World Cup 2003. Due to his studies, Moriuchi Takahiro short time later decided in December 2003 to leave the group and Johnny 's Entertainment.
Under its old name, but in the amended spelling NEWS was their major debut single Kibou ~ Yell ~ published in May 2004, which, as well as the subsequent singles, the first place on the Oricon charts could secure. The date next to them is KAT -TUN and Kinki Kids, which also belong to Johnny 's Entertainment, managed as a single. In July, the group Kanjani ∞ was founded by Johnny's, also boarded as members in Ryo and Hiroki.
After further singles and their only previous album touch NEWS 2006 were put on hold since Hiroki Uchi are said to have drunk alcohol in July 2005 and Kusano, in January 2006, although they were still underage. Johnny's rules regarding alcohol are very strict because of the large number of underage fans, and Uchi had to cease its activities. Kusano is said to have asked to be suspended, according to information from consideration for the fans.
The remaining members were allowed to devote himself in the meantime their own projects. Tomohisa, YamaP ' Yamashita released a successful single under his own name and played, like the other members, while Ryo continued to work well in television drama in Kanjani ∞.
NEWS ' comeback was launched at the New Year's Eve concert Johnny 's Countdown 2006-2007, in which they performed for the first time. First, the official number of members at 6, Hiroki Uchi and Hironori Kusano remains were their activities as trainees, apprentices, resume. The latest single released after this break, Hoshi where Mezashite secured the # 1 spot on the charts and became her best-selling single after their debut single.
On 7 November 2007 appeared NEWS ' latest single weeeek, which was written and composed by the famous Japanese band GReeeeN. The song was also used in commercials for the clothing label Russ -K, for which NEWS makes advertising. On the same day the long-awaited second album was released pacific. Both single and album, secured 1st place on the Oricon charts.
For the film to the dorama Kurosagi, in which Yamashita Tomohisa again plays the main role, deliver NEWS Taiyou no Namida the title song. The single for the song was released on February 27, 2008, the movie was released on 8 March 2008 in Japanese cinemas.
