The NextEra Energy Resources 250 is a car race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, which will be held at the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Beach, Florida. It was first held in 2000 and since then has always been the first race of the season.

The first discharged in Daytona race in the Craftsman Truck Series in 2000 was overshadowed by a serious accident. Approximately half of the race touched the trucks of Kurt Busch and Rob Morgan. Morgan lost control of his truck and pushed the truck by Geoff Bodine in the outside wall. There was a large fire, in which no one was killed. The injured in the accident Geoff Bodine was again a race in May.

The Craftsman Truck Series does not run at Daytona in contrast to the Sprint Cup and Nationwide Series with air restrictors, so that higher speeds can be achieved.

In the years 2003 and 2007, there was very narrow target enemas with three trucks side by side. In the years 2001, 2003 and 2006, there was a " Green- White- Checkered Finish ".
