History
The Nexus 7 was unveiled along with the version of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean on 27 June 2012 at the Google I / O in San Francisco. Critics praised the high performance, the build quality, long battery life and support for NFC. Criticized, however, were the lack of an SD card slot, HDMI output, and at first the lack of connection to the public mobile network.
