NGC 2541

NGC 2541 is the name of a spiral galaxy, which is about 31 million light -years away from Earth. They formed a loose triple together with the galaxies NGC 2500 and NGC 2552, and belongs belong together with them to NGC 2841 group, a group of galaxies to which, inter alia, the galaxies NGC 2841, NGC 2681 and NGC 2537.

NGC 2541 was discovered on 9 March 1788 by the German - British astronomer William Herschel.
