Ngwane III. († 1780) was King of Swaziland to 1780th He is considered the first king of Swaziland.

Background

According to the conventions of Swaziland the king still reigns in a partnership with his mother. The mother of the king is called Indlovukazi and their place of residence highlighted the capital, are held in important ceremonies. My house shall be called umphakatsi. Ngwane III. is a major figure in the history of Swaziland, since it is regarded by some as the first king of the country. When he came to power, he took them from his father, who was Hlubi. He succeeded, south of Pongola to conquer the land. Although he was not able to keep the country, but just this country is nowadays considered as an important part of modern Swaziland. The name Ngwane gave his country Kangwane what as much as the country means of place of Ngwane was. This name is still used today and the people of Swaziland to use him in order to describe themselves as human beings.
