Niamtougou is a city in Togo with 12,444 inhabitants in 1982 and likely to 24,000 inhabitants in 2008. It is located in the Kara region, 25 km north of the regional capital of the same name Kara. Niamtougou is the administrative seat of the Doufelgou Prefecture.
