Nic Westaway

Nicholas " Nic " Westaway ( born January 20, 1989 in Margaret River, Western Australia ) is an Australian actor.

Career and life

Nicholas Westaway was born in January 1989 in Margaret River, Western Australia, and grew up with two brothers. In his youth he learned to play guitar and piano. In addition, he has practiced several sports such as basketball, volleyball and surfing. Its decision for acting, he decided during his high school years, when he took part in acting classes. He received a sports studies at the University of Western Australia, which he, however, interrupted for acting. At the age of 19 he moved to Perth and attended Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts, graduating in 2011. Since the end of 2011, he lives in Sydney.

Between 2009 and 2011 he was in the short films Running: see A Western Australian Short, Happy Haven and bonsai. His breakthrough came with the role of Kyle Braxton on the soap opera Home and Away, in which he is seen since August 8, 2012.
