Nice Airport (IATA: NCE, ICAO: LFMN; French Aéroport Nice Côte d' Azur) is an international airport, 7 km west of Nice on the Côte d' Azur. He is to Paris -Charles de Gaulle and Paris -Orly of France's third largest airport and manufactured in 2009 close to 10 million passengers.

Operation

The largest part of the area of the southern runway was reclaimed through land reclamation and embankments of the comparatively shallow Baie des Anges ( Bay of Angels ). Approach

By car the airport via the Autoroute A8 is (La Provençale ) to reach. The airport is directly 1 km away from the exit, right on the famous Promenade des Anglais.

You can also pass through a regular bus public transport to the city center of Nice, or to the airport. A development by the tram is planned for 2013.

The station is the airport closest to Nice St Augustin about 800 meters from Terminal 1.

This can be from Terminal 1 (free shuttle from Terminal 2 ) walk only through an underpass under the Promenade des Anglais, then through the commercial center Porte de l' Arenas.

S-Bahn trains like in the direction of Nice or Cannes in the direction of driving during the day from the pitch of no more than 30 minutes.

Furthermore, there is a compound helicopter. The flights to Cannes and St Tropez are offered by means of a helicopter. Regular shuttle flights connect the airport with the Héliport de Monaco.
