Nicholas Liverpool

Nicolas Joseph Orville Liverpool ( born September 9, 1934 in Grand Bay ) is a politician dominicanischer (independent). He was 2003-2012 President of Dominica.

In 1957 he joined the University of Hull and in 1960 was awarded the Bachelor of Laws. In 1965 he received then after successful studies at the University of Sheffield doctoral degree Ph.D.

In 1998 he was declared the Ambassador of Dominica in the United States and held that post until 2001.

From 2 October 2003 to 17 September 2012, he was President of Dominica. After he had resigned for health reasons, Eliud Williams followed him in office.
