Nicht nachmachen!
Do not imitate! is a satirical science show, which first aired on 29 June 2012 on ZDF. The consequences are repeated on ZDFneo in different cut versions. Content of the episodes are experiments of the moderators Wigald Boning and Bernhard Hoëcker in which they intentionally disregard warnings preferred among other household items. It is an adaptation of the format Ikke gjør dette hjemme ( German: " Do not do this at home " ) of the Norwegian channel NRK.
Concept
The episodes Experiments show that would without security measures result in serious injury or damage. For example, a bathroom on the first floor was flooded with water for so long, until the bottom collapsed, and a waterbed filled to bursting. In other experiments, the presenters were fireworks in the living room or cans explode on the stove. Boning and Hoëcker accompany the experiments with satirical and ironic comments.
Locations
The experiments of the first season were filmed in the area of a dilapidated house in Troisdorf. The location of the second season is a farm in Rahden in the Minden -Lübbecke.
Follow
The first series consisted of six episodes. These were from June 29 to August 17, 2012 every Friday, to be broadcast on 27 July and 3 August, on ZDF.
The second season also consists of six episodes. These were broadcast from July 26 to September 6, 2013 every Friday until the 30th of August in the ZDF.
Since August 29 runs every Thursday, the second season, in the amended section, on ZDFneo.
Hazards
The experiments in the program often require more stringent security measures. So every time the fire brigade forces are present. In some experiments inside the house doors are replaced with plexiglass windows to watch the action protected.

The first episode achieved a market share of 9.3 percent, 9.2 percent among younger viewers. This looks ZDF risen its planning to fill the summer break today -show with a format that will also attract young viewers.
