Nick Noble

Nicholas Noble ( born September 1, 1984 in Charleston, West Virginia) is an American soccer goalkeeper.

Career

Noble played from 2003 to 2006 in the College Soccer in 79 appearances for the West Virginia University. In 2006 he was elected to the First Team All-American NCAA and thus named the best goalkeeper of the college season. In the season breaks during his studies, he played a few games in the USL Premier Development League for the Bradenton Academics (2005 ) and West Virginia Chaos (2006). After the end of his college career, he was drafted in 7th position in the MLS Supplemental Draft in 2007 by Chicago Fire SC in the first round.

Behind the root goalkeepers Matt Pickens and Jon Busch came Noble in the following two and a half years, only in a competitive match in the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, and in some international friendly matches are used. In June 2009, he was placed Chicago Fire on the waiver list and spent the rest of the season in the USL First Division at the Austin Aztex. In early 2010 moved Noble, succeeding his compatriot Colin Burns to the Swedish second division Ljungskile SK.
