Nicklas Bergh

Nicklas Bergh ( born September 6, 1982 in Eskilstuna, Södermanland County ) is a Swedish football player. The goalkeeper played for AIK in Allsvenskan.

Career

Bergh began playing football at Triangelns IK in his hometown of Eskilstuna. 1998, he joined the youth team of local rivals and former first division club IFK Eskilstuna. There he went on in 2000 in the cadre of gambling in the fifth league first team. In 2002 he moved inside Eskilstuna Eskilstuna City FK for the fourth-rate in Division 2 next.

In summer 2005, Bergh joined as third goalkeeper behind Daniel Örlund and Kjell Jönsson to Erstligaabsteiger AIK in the Superettan. Although he moved after the farewell Jönssons in the middle of the following season for the second goalkeeper, but was initially only in the Swedish National Cup used. Therefore, it was awarded for the second division season 2007 Enköpings SK and came in 18 games available for use. After his return to AIK he was first again on the bench. On 5 May 2008, he finally came to his Erstligadebüt when he Halmstad BK guarded the goal in the 1-0 victory. A short time later, he extended his contract with the club from Solna to two years. In the summer Örlund left the club on loan towards Norway and Bergh inherited him briefly as the first keeper, but had to leave the place as first-choice goalkeeper between the posts after a few games the newly obligated Tomi Maanoja. After returning Örlunds before the 2009 season he was his replacement and remained at winning the league title without minutes, but came in the National Cup for use and thus helped to enter the final. 2-0 final win against IFK Göteborg, he sat on the bench.

In the fight for the position in the goal after the farewell Örlunds end of the year, who moved to Norway, Bergh had early March 2010 suffered a setback. During training, he injured his shoulder, so that he had to undergo surgery and about four months fails. In the summer of the club undertook with the Croats Ivan Turina another goalkeeper so that the club no longer needed it because of competition from Tomi Maanoja and Stamatopoulos Kyriakos and in view of the expiring contract parted from him.

In January 2011, Bergh announced his return to the fourth division Eskilstuna City. At the end of the year he went to the club on the third-class Division 1.
