Nicolai Soloviev

Nikolai Solovyov Feopemptowitsch (born 27 Apriljul / May 9 1846greg in Petrozavodsk, .. .. † 14 Dezemberjul / December 27 1916greg in Petrograd ) was a Russian composer, music teacher and critic.

Solovyov taught at the conservatory of Saint Petersburg. He composed operas, orchestral works, songs and piano pieces. Among his pupils was, inter alia, the Polish composer Roman Statkowski.
