Nicolas Winding Refn
Nicolas Winding Refn ( born September 29, 1970 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish film director and screenwriter.
Life and work
The son of the Danish cinematographer and film director Vibeke Winding and Cutters Anders Refn grew from the age of eight on the U.S.. After finishing school, he made in Denmark, he visited in New York, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He did not finish the training there but. In 1996 Winding Refn was with the film Pusher his debut as a director and screenwriter. The lead roles Kim Bodnia and the then relatively unknown Mads Mikkelsen, for it was the first major starring role in a movie. Three years later, he directed his second film with Bleeder, some actors such as Kim Bodnia and Mads Mikkelsen made his film debut was again part of this project. In addition Winding Refn was first worked as a producer for that stripe.

Winding Refn is married with three years younger Danish actress Liv Corfixen which he entrusted with supporting roles in several of his films.
