The Schwarzhörnige or black probe Fingered gravedigger ( Nicrophorus vespilloides ) is a beetle of the family of carrion beetles ( Silphidae ).

Features

The beetles reach a body length of 12-18 millimeters. Your body is colored black. The wing covers ( elytra ) carry two conspicuous yellow to reddish-yellow bands with a zigzag edge. These bands are occasionally, especially the further back, separated into two spots. The pronotum bears a broad, hutkrempenartigen hem except at the front on all the other pages. Dissemination and lifestyle
