The Nidda railway station is a railway station in the same town on the Lahn- Kinzig -Bahn. Furthermore Nidda is the terminus of trains from Friedberg.

History

The station was opened on 29 June 1870 as the end point of the second section of the Lahn- Kinzig -Bahn ( Hungen - Nidda ). The client was Oberhessische Railway Company. In late November 1870, the railway line was extended to Gelnhausen. On 1 October 1897, the railway line Beienheim Scots of Beienheim about Nidda was opened by Scots. This Nidda became a railway junction in the Wetterau.

On November 29, 1959, the passenger on the Nidda Scots section has been set. The freight was still operated until February 1960. Due to lack of demand, he also was set and finally the line was dismantled a few months after the complete decommissioning.
