Niedergörsdorf

Niedergörsdorf is a municipality in the south of the district of Teltow -Flaming in Brandenburg. The municipality is located in the heart of flaming.

History

Incorporations

With the turn started the local self-government for Niedergörsdorf. The community consisted of five hamlets in 1990 (village, train station, Gölsdorf, Wölmsdorf, Kaltenborn ). 1991 Niedergörsdorf and Dennewitzplatz joined together to manage community Niedergörsdorf / Dennewitzplatz. Niedergörsdorf belonged with effect from 15 June 1992 to 10 municipalities that formed the Office Niedergörsdorf. From 1993, the 6th district Niedergörsdorfs, who received the name "aerodrome " developed. Here initially settled ethnic German repatriates from Kazakhstan. With effect from 31 December 1997, included 14 municipalities, including Niedergörsdorf together for community Niedergörsdorf. They gave so on their independence. The coat of arms was approved on 28 November 1997 by the Brandenburg Ministry of Interior.

Culture and sights

In the list of monuments in Niedergörsdorf and the list of ground monuments in Niedergörsdorf are registered in the list of monuments of the country Brandenburg cultural monuments.

Churches

The stone church in Mellnsdorf dates from the first half of the 13th century. The church hall with recessed choir and apse has followed since the 19th century about a lattice tower and a western gable with porch. The roof of the church tower was restored in 1957, but serious flaws occurred that led to that the steeple had to be removed in 2002. Since then she stands next to the church.

Monuments

On a hill between Niedergörsdorf and Dennewitzplatz stands an obelisk, designed by Karl Friedrich Schinkel. It was established on September 6, 1817 as the first monument to the Battle of Dennewitz. Traffic

The breakpoint Niedergörsdorf is on the railway line between Berlin and Halle. The Oehna railway station is on the railway line Jiiterbog - Röderau. At the last -mentioned route and the breakpoint Zellendorf to be reopened.
