Niels Andersen (actor)
Niels Vandrefalk Andersen ( born August 7 1942 in Denmark ) is a Danish actor and theater director.
Life
Nielsen has made a name in the Danish fringe theater scene, he is also known by the nickname Vandrefalk ( Peregrine Falcon ). He began his training at the Drama School of the Royal Theatre (Det Kongelige Teaters Elevskole ) and was subsequently engaged for several years in the theater. With the departure from the established theater scene in 1969 he founded the theater group bands with which he went on tour. Thanks municipal development funds, the group was able to occur until 1991 in Denmark. After the cessation of funding, the group worked until 1993 on. Since then he has participated in various capacities in diverse theater projects.
In 1980 he directed the piece Hans Egede in Odense Theatre. Likewise, Nielsen is known for its commitment to the children 's and youth theater.
For the period 2011 to the end of 2013 Andersen acts in the Committee on Performing Arts of the Danish Arts Council ( Kunstrådets scenekunstudvalg ), an international organization for cultural activities.
