Niels Kokmeijer
Niels Kokmeijer ( born December 30, 1977 in Uitgeest ) is a former football player from the Netherlands.
After a crunching tackle from Rachid Bouaouzan in the match against Sparta Rotterdam on 17 December 2004, he had to end his career due to a broken leg complicated and the Dutch Football Federation detained Rachid Bouaouzan for twelve games. This was also sentenced to six months in prison. With this ruling, the Supreme Court has imposed a landmark judgment for the professional sports in the Netherlands.
