Niels Scheuneman

Niels Scheuneman ( born December 21, 1983 in Veendam ) is a Dutch racing cyclist.

Niels Scheuneman was successful at the UCI Road World Championships 2001 in Lisbon. In the junior category, he finished third in the time trial and won silver in the road race. In 2002, he drove at Rabobank TT3, the junior team of the professional team. In the spring of 2003, he won the U-23 rating Niedersachsen Tour for themselves. At the World Championships in Hamilton, he won silver in the U23 individual time trial. For season 2004, he was professional in the Spanish- Belgian cycling team Relax- Bodysol. After a year, he returned to his home a ProTour team Rabobank. On 3 May 2009 he finished as a complete surprise his career as a professional cyclist.
