Niemierzyno, Gmina Åšwidwin

Niemierzyno ( German Nemmin ) is a village in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the rural community Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) in the powiat Świdwiński.

Geographical location

Niemierzyno is located five kilometers northeast of Świdwin on the south bank of the Rega. Gdansk, the nearest station is the railway station in Świdwin - In the north, the railway line runs Stettin. South of Niemierzyno is a small airport, who was an emergency landing before 1945, but has now expanded.

History

It was a cow that Nemminer in 1469 story, " wrote" when it was on the occasion of a feud between Belgard and Schivelbein, the (now Polish: LEGI ) with a bloody battle of Long ended. In 1679 there were after the Thirty Years' War, only nine farms in Nemmin, and in the Seven Years War, the village was burned in half.

To Nemmin included the location of the Rega Beust Riner mill. Since 1831 it belonged to the family Ponath in Nelep ( Nielep ).

In 1861, 160 residents lived in Nemmin, 14 of them as weavers worked. 1939 the village had 239 inhabitants in 54 households. Significant was the 175 -acre estate. In addition there existed eleven farms.

By 1945 Nemmin belonged to the official and the civil registry district Simmatzig (now Smardzko ) in the District Court area Schivelbein ( Świdwin ). Last mayor was Alfred Balk. On March 6, 1945 Nemmin was occupied by Polish troops. The village became part of Poland, the expulsion of the German population lasted from July 1945 to March 1946. Niemierzyno Today is a district of the municipality Świdwin.

Church

Nemmin had no church of their own. The village belonged until 1945 with messenger Hagen (today: Szczytniki ) and Simmatzig ( Smardzko ) for parish II in the parish of St Mary's church circle Schivelbein Schivelbein in the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union. Last German pastor was Detlev Rewald.

Even today Świdwin parish seat is for Niemierzyno, but now in the parish Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Polish Evangelical-Augsburg Church.

School

Last German teacher at the elementary school einklassigen was Karl Frömming.
