Nienstedter Beeke

The Nienstedter Beeke is a 11 km long river in Lower Saxony Diepholz, part of the river system in the Weser. The right-hand tributary of the monastery creek flows exclusively in the field of city Bassum.

The Nienstedter Beeke has its source in Staatshausen north of the nature reserve Pastorendiek. They first flows in a westerly direction and then in a northerly direction through the towns Nienstedt ( Bassum ), Pannstedt ( a district of Apelstedt ) and Schorlingborstel. South of the center of Bassum it empties into the Klosterbach. Shortly before flowing it is still rising on the Schorlingborsteler Beeke and Esch houses Beeke.
