The Nièvre is a river in France, which runs in the Burgundy region in the department of Nièvre, she has also given its name. It rises with Bourras la Grange in the municipality of Champlemy, dehydrated general direction south to southwest and empties after 50 kilometers in Nevers as a right tributary of the Loire. The opening section in the urban area runs underground, most of the water supply is derived, however, already in Coulanges- lès- Nevers in a channel that bypasses Nevers in the east and about 500 meters above the original mouth reaches the Loire.
