Niflhel

Niflhel is a mythological place in Norse mythology, which lies behind the dead realm of Hel.

It is described in the 43rd verse of Wafthrudnirliedes as a place to get to all those who have died in the Hel. In Balder's dreams are found in the second stanza as the place mention where Odin disguised as Wegtam a dead seer visits, to bring them back to life and to learn the meaning of dreams of his son Balder from her.
